One of my favorite UnTours is our Greece Untour, with vacation rental apartments set in lovely historic Nafplio. The old town is picturesque and charming, its narrow alleys lined with flower boxes and its squares and promenades filled with cafe tables and restaurants. A beautiful seafront offers sweeping views, and a Venetian fortress looms high above. The town is at once cosmopolitan and invitingly cozy and friendly.
And the day trips beyond it are astounding, from Epidaurus to Mystra, Athens to Mycenae, Corinth to the islands. All of the Peloponnese is your oyster. There is so much to explore. I would pack my bags for Greece in a heartbeat, and long to return.
