1. Tell us a little bit about your most recent Untour.

Paris was our destination, my 16 year old grandson, Patrick and I. I chose the Latin Quarter. Our apartment was near Notre Dame, a great location to begin his adventure. Merci Ives, for showing us the patisserie from where we started every morning.

2. Why did you choose to go there?

Galandeβ€”where they stayed

Patrick chose Paris as his “trip with Nama” because he said it was historical. I think he chose it because I love the city. We saw more of Paris in one week than most people see in a life time.

3. What is your favorite UnTours memory?

Oh! So many memories: beautiful Versailles, crepes, spooky catacombs, glace, breathtaking lights of the Eiffel Tower, jambon baguette, the view from Sacre Coeur, croissants, thought provoking Normandy, and Patrick’s enthusiasm.

4. How is taking an Untour different from other ways of travelling?

UnTours gave us the freedom to tour the city at our own pace, albeit a fast one. It also gave me peace of mind to have an English speaking contact. We were appreciative of Jane’s help in booking our adventure to Normandy. Merci, Jane!

5. If you could describe an Untour in just three words, what would they be?

Helpfulness. Freedom. Assimilation.

6. Have you heard of our trailblazing UnTours Foundation? What do you think of a company whose profits have gone to create jobs among vulnerable populations through loans to pioneering, green businesses?

One of the reason I travel with UnTours!
