Venice and Quebec are back!

Features:

Hi ,

We are excited to announce that you can now book travel for 2011 online and the catalog is shipping next week!

Catalog 2011

Things may have seemed quiet on this end, but summertime at Untours is always a special time. Media, PA gets hot and humid, perhaps not at all the traditional vision we have of an elves' workshop, and yet, blame it on my Swedish blood, that's how I imagine us. For this is the time when we start putting together our packages for the following year, when we start dreaming dreams of what Untourists like you might want to see, where you will travel next year, and what beauty and wonder to which we might have the privilege of introducing you.

The joy of working at Untours is not only getting to explore different lands, cultures, languages and foods but it's imagining how many of you will get to go there, too. Travel: it's been written about since time immemorial, and I can do it no more justice with words than what's already been said, but as you wait for your catalog to arrive in the mail, here are just some of the wonderful things the Untours elves have been working on:

  • Venice and Quebec City are back! Many Untourists asked us to re-instate the programs and we listened.
  • Untours has reduced its prices by an average of 13%! Visit the website or turn to the price grid in your catalog to find out more about your favorite destinations.
  • More family discounts! In order to make it easier for families with small children to have the opportunity to experience Untours, we are now offering a child discount of $150 per week. Children must be under 16 to qualify and children under 2 stay free. Don't forget to ask about this discount when you call, or click here for more information.

Remember, you don't have to wait until your catalog arrives to start exploring, the 2011 website is already up and running!

Dreaming of travel,

Adopt a River!

Belu WaterUntours Foundation loan recipient, Belu, has moored a floating rubbish collector in the Thames River opposite the Houses of Parliament. The collector is designed to capture up to 40 tons of floating litter each year. This litter, if washed out to sea, can kill marine mammals, fish, and birds. To read more click here.

Belu, a water bottling company that uses both glass and biodegradable/compostable bottles, modeled itself on Untours and uses its profits for clean water projects in its home country and the developing world. Go, Belu!

Saint Jean
Chateau
Fogher
The elegant Saint Jean apartment is on the third floor of a lovely building located a few steps from la Porte Saint-Jean (St. John's door). From the terrace on the roof, you can admire Quebec City and Château Frontenac.
The Chateau is a two-bedroom apartment in the charming town of Ribeauville in Alsace. Located within a couple minutes of the Grand Rue, it allows you to take advantage of Ribeauville's numerous shops, bakeries, and restaurants.
The Fogher is located in the heart of Venice. It has five wide windows overlooking the Frari church and campo. The neighborhood is full of great shops and restaurants, and all of Venice's sites are within walking distance.
