A 2 hour loop walk with an experienced guide starting from the car park on the outskirts of Spoleto. We first pass a most beautiful Lombard church, walk up to the Ponte delle Torri bridge, the symbol of the town of Spoleto, and then and start the Giro dei Condotti, a picturesque and easy walk on the hill opposite Spoleto with excellent views onto the town. Through woods on ancient paths used by the Romans and onto another path marked out in the Middle Ages to check the town’s water supply. While the first part of the walk is level, the second leads down into Spoleto. A steep set of stairs leads right in the Piazza del Duomo and back to the parking lot. Cost:€25 per person, minimum 4 people; €15 for each extra person (total cost divided equally among participants).
