The spacious Carola apartment is on the second floor of the Schloss Sommersdorf, a Bavarian castle built in the fourteenth century. You will feel like a royal in this one-bedroom apartment with a queen-size bed, a beautiful living room filled with antiques, nice-sized kitchen and modern bathroom.

The Gabriele apartment is on the second floor of Schloss Sommersdorf, a castle built in the fourteenth century. This tastefully decorated apartment has 1 bedroom, living room/ kitchenette combination and bathroom. This apartment offers lovely views of the castle moat and the chapel. You will hear the bells chime each morning from the chapel.

The beautiful Jeannette vacation rental in Bavaria is located in a recently renovated house just outside the castle walls The apartment has an open and spacious living room, dining room and kitchen combination. It features an open fireplace and wonderful antique furniture. The apartment is the perfect apartment for a special occasion like an anniversary or honeymoon. Large windows offer lovely views of the castle pond and its surroundings.

Julie | Sommersdorf | Sleeps 1-2
The Julie apartment is in the newly renovated Manor House located outside the castle walls. It is handsomely decorated and is on the second floor with 1 bedroom, spacious living room/kitchen combination with hardwood floors and private bathroom. There are tasteful antiques throughout the apartment.

The Bird/Butterfly Apartment is located on the second floor of the castle. The Bird apartment includes a bedroom with combined twins, comfortable living room/dining area combination, bathroom with shower (no bathtub) and a kitchenette. The Butterfly Room is next to the Bird apartment and has a bedroom-sitting area and bathroom. Those staying in the Butterfly Room share the kitchenette and spaciousness of the Bird apartment. Though 2 persons can technically stay in the Bird Apartment we prefer to keep this apartment for 4 persons in combination with the Butterfly room.

WEEK 2: Germany - Rhine
Weiler | Oberwesel | Sleeps 1-3
If you are looking for a terrific ground-floor vacation rental with friendly landlords in the quaint village of Oberwesel, then the Weiler apartment is a great choice. This spacious apartment has 1 bedroom, living room with sleeper sofa, kitchen, bathroom and the use of a pretty garden in an enclosed courtyard furnished for outdoor dining.
