Mia Lehmann

I was born in Gothenburg, Sweden, but love brought me to Media, PA. Before getting married, I studied "Travel Tourism & Management" at Johnson & Wales. I was fortunate to be able to start in Sweden and complete my degree in Providence, RI. I've worked at Untours twice. My first time around started in 2001, when I worked on the Central Europe Untours. After six years I decided to stay home with my two girls, but a few years at home and a detour to another travel company brought me right back to Untours in April of 2010. I'm excited to work on our newest destinations!

Apart from my beloved homeland, I have so many favorite destinations, as I tend to find something lovely in each location I visit. Quebec City, Paris, Vienna, Greece, Provence, Jerusalem, and Norway top the list, but I could go on and on. I love both cities and the countryside, as beauty can be found everywhere. I would love to go to Italy next, to absorb and enjoy the scenery, history, art, fashion, wine, food, and people. They seem to have mastered the art of living. Since I am somewhat Germanic and stiff when at home, I love and appreciate travel destinations that offer a totally opposite experience.

I work at Untours because I believe in the wonderful product, and I love my fabulous colleagues and kind clients. Plus, our office is conveniently located only a few blocks away from my children's school and our house, and my work is flexible so I can care for my family.

My time as a mother of two girls, wife, and a full time employee is extremely hectic. Every minute counts. Our old Volvo station wagon zips between Media and Aston Ice Works, where my oldest daughter spends hours and hours on ice, and where my youngest daughter and I take group lessons. I love techno music, as it makes me want to dance. Also, I am passionate about real estate and home staging. Needless to say, HGTV is my favorite TV channel.
