This trip log is to give one an idea of what can be done in the allotted
time period. This is a very active trip log for those that want to see as
much as possible in a short time. It may not be for everyong. We
generally left our house at 9:00 A.M. and returned home from 5:00 to 7:00
P.M. This just lists places, not decriptions, as you can use your guide book
for that. We stayed at Bruneau which has an annex with a separate bed and
bath, ideal for two couples. We made this trip with Bill and Carol Frazer
of Morgan Hill, CA. Restaurants are not listed, but generally we ate one
meal out and one at home.
Day 1-Wed.
-Arrived Avignon, picked up car, drove to house. To bed early for
jet lag.

Day 4-Sat.
-Dentelles Area.

-Market in Isle-sur Sorge-Avignon.
Day 6-Mon.
-Arles-Camarque-Gacholle-les Baux- St. Remy-Cavaillon-Home
Day 7-Tues.
-Drove to Antibes by way of Manasque-Greaux-Moustiers-Grand
Canyon Du Verdon-Grasse-Antibes. Stayed at Hotel Beau-Site in Cap Antibes
for 2 nights. Very reasonable and nice
Day 8-Wed.
-Nice-Grande Cornice to Monte Carlo-Monaco-Back on middle
cornice-Eze-Hotel
Day 9-Thur.
-Drove autoroute to Aix-en-Provence-home-Untours dinner
Day 10-Fri.
-Orange-Chateuef de-Pape-Home
Day 11-Sat.
-Pont du Gard-Uze-Mas des Cabanos-Douix-walked to Gouges de
Gordan (3 miles)-home.
Day 12-Sun.
-Drove to Ventous by way of Pernes-Mazan-Gorges of Nesque-Sault-
summit road to Ventoux closed-Bedoix-Crillon-le-Brave-Caromb-
Mazan-Pernes-home.
Day 13-Mon.
-Pont Julien-Lacoste-Menerbes-Oppede-le-Vieux-home
Day 14-Tues.
-Drove Frazers to Marseille-walked around old port-Airport Best
Western-home.
Day 15-Wed.
-Avignon train station-dropped car home-TGV to Paris.
