From the Cathedral we walked through Old Town, admiring the half-timbered
structures and lovely old buildings with painted fronts. We wanted to see two
churches we'd read about: St. Ignatius and St. Stephans.
St. Ignatius has an imposing red sandstone facade with an impressive array of sculptured ornamentation. The entrance to this jewel of a small church is guarded by the figure of patron saint Ignatius. |
