Stay in Alsace
Set just beyond the magnificent town gate, right in the center of Bergheim, which remains one of UnTours’ very favorite villages, the Pinot 2 is one of three apartments UnTours offers in this large, charming, authentic, half-timbered house. A wonderful setting for your Alsatian stay.
All of the Pinot apartments have been recently renovated and are tastefully furnished and you will easily feel at home here with comfortable spaces and all the necessary equipment to make your stay most pleasant. You will easily find parking nearby and have easy walking access to restaurants and all the amenities in town yet all three apartments are quiet in their surroundings.
The apartment entrance opens onto the hallway where you will find the two bedrooms, one with a queen-size bed, one with a double bed. Off the hallway is also the bathroom (tub w/ shower attachment) and separate WC. You then come into an open plan living/kitchen area. The living room furniture is cozy, with a separate dining area for four that opens onto the living room and kitchen. The kitchen is well equipped with stove, oven, dishwasher and microwave, plus a fridge and small freezer.
The apartment can accommodate four but would be very comfortable for two or three persons. Overall, it makes a wonderful base in a charming town for your Alsace UnTour.

Bergheim, France - Alsace, Home of Pinot 2
Bergheim is one of our favorites in Alsace. A winemaking village, like so many of its neighbors, it offers flowering window boxes and half-timbered houses that seem straight out of a fairy tale. Bergheim retains a sleepy, authentic charm that some of the more touristy villages have lost. Its city walls boast 6 intact towers. Walking the circumference of the town is one of the loveliest evening strolls you can imagine.
The town features a bakery, ATM and several restaurants, cafés and shops – more than sufficient shopping options. Larger stores and shopping are less than a 5-minute drive in Ribeauvillé. After enjoying the many day trips in the region, you will love returning to Bergheim, the quietly elegant village that is your temporary hometown.
Landlord
The owners, Clarisse and Emmanuel, don't live on-site but are only a few minutes away. You will likely meet them when you arrive as they look forward to greeting their UnTour guests.
