Stay in The Amalfi Coast
The Mare apartment is a lovely apartment with a massive rooftop terrace with soaring views of the sea and of charming Atrani. Access is via staircase streets, into a main floor that includes a queen bedroom and a comfortable living room and dining room area. Steep ladder steps lead up to a lofted sleep area with twin beds. The entry room includes comfy couches and dining room. From here there are steps up to the small bathroom with shower. Note that the bedroom and bathroom are on different levels.
More steps lead up from the bathroom to a galley kitchen with washing machine. Note that there is no dining area in the kitchen itself and there are many steps down to the indoor dining room. There is however a door from the kitchen leading directly to the large terrace for outdoor dining. Lounge furniture and a long table and chairs make this a favorite hang out place for dining and sunning. The views of both the sea and of Atrani itself are incredible, and the space is inviting, with potted plants and a charcoal grill. You may not want to leave this terrace!

Atrani, Italy - Amalfi Coast, Home of Mare Vista
Atrani is Italy’s smallest municipality. But, what it lacks in size it makes up for in charm and authenticity. Its main piazza holds several cafes, a restaurant and direct access onto its small beach. Explore its step-lined streets and alleyways or visit one of its two churches. Feel like a true resident of the Amalfi coast in this small village as you sip your daily cappuccino with the locals.
Because of its position, Atrani offers some of the most dramatic views along the Amalfi Coast. And it is a short stroll to the town of Amalfi, with its lovely piazza, outdoors cafes, historic churches and lovely beaches.
Atrani is a great home base for hopping all along the coast. Buses keep regular schedules and make day trips to places like Positano, Sorrento and Pompeii very easy. An easy 1 kilometer walk or bus ride to Amalfi will give you access to the ferries as well.
