Allan House is a spacious and bright ground-floor apartment in lovely Bridge of Allan. It is located in a handsome sandstone mansion. The apartment was completely renovated to the highest standards and nicely furnished, combining modern design with original features.
It is made up of a generous living room with a fireplace, a well equipped eat-in kitchen, a bathroom with a tub/shower combination, and radiant floor heat. There are two bedrooms, one with 2 twins and one with 1 queen bed.
The apartment features high ceilings, and the living room’s south-facing bay window overlooks the lawn in front of the house. Garden chairs and a croquet set are provided for your enjoyment, and there are also communal grounds at the back of the house.
The apartment comes with Wi-Fi and a washing machine and drying rack, but no dryer. It is far enough from the main road that it is quiet, and parking is available right in front of the house.
The friendly owner lives nearby and is easy to reach if needed.
A grocery store is just a 5-minute walk away. Restaurants, cafes, and pubs are just a bit farther. The local railway station is about fifteen minutes away by foot and offers service to Stirling, Glasgow, Edinburgh, and points to the north. Bus service to Stirling and Stirling University is available close by.

A 19th century Victorian spa town located just a few miles north of Stirling, Bridge of Allan is a vibrant homebase, with specialist shops, cafes, restaurants, and pubs. Less than 2 miles away lies the National Wallace Monument which explores the life and legacy of the patriot and martyr Sir William Wallace. The Allanwater Brewery has been popular with locals and tourists alike since its doors opened in 1997.
Bridge of Allan is nestled in the wooded countryside below the Ochil Hills and is a great spot to explore with lots of lovely local walks.
Bridge of Allan has its own train station offering regular trains to Edinburgh, Glasgow and Perth as well as Inverness and the Highlands. A local bus connects you to the nearby MacRobert Art Center of Stirling University and its cultural offerings.
