The Padraig is one of three beautiful apartments on the former stable grounds of an active dairy farm. The apartments combine charming traditional style with modern conveniences and thoughtful details. Padraig, along with Thomas, share the main building.
The cottage overlooks the common courtyard. One enters into a large open living room that offers a leather love seat and comfy chairs, a fireplace, and a TV with CNN. Around the corner is the kitchen area, which that has all of the tools necessary to create a delightful Irish meal, including a dishwasher, 4-burner electric stove, oven, and microwave. The king-bed bedroom is on the ground floor. A full bathroom is accessed from the hallway. Upstairs, you'll find two bedrooms, both with en suite bathrooms.
Each cottage has its own private patio and garden area with seating so you can enjoy eating outside. The common front garden includes a yard and play area for children, along with a hen house, where guests can collect fresh eggs in the morning. Farm operations are separate from the guest quarters, but the farm's friendly hosts, Anne and Patrick, are willing to show guests their dairy operations on request. Their warm hospitality adds much to the experience of staying on the farm.
The three cottages, with a total of eight bedrooms, are perfect for a large group wanting to explore the jewels of Ireland's southwest together.

Customer comments about Padraig, Kenmare, Ireland - County Kerry
"The apartment was perfect in every way. The food provided on arrival lasted us several days and was both nicely chosen and quite special. Ann (owner) made a raspberry cream cake for us later in the week. All appliances worked well with clear instructions from Ann. Son Padraig helped us with rail tickets on-line. Dog Charlie was a love and accompanied me each morning on my walks. Chickens dutifully produced eggs. All in all a great experience and fine place to stay. We were just two -- a bit of a waste as the three bedrooms (each with a full bath) were lovely."
"It was perfect! Comfortable, clean, and charming. Enjoyed visits from Charlie the dog and the cat."

“Apartment was well equipped, clean, and comfortable. Hostess was terrific.”
