Chez Joëlle

Set on the lovely grounds of an acre-plus property surrounded by flora and water, Chez Joëlle, named for the owner, will make a lovely home base for your Provence UnTour.

The apartment is part of an 18th century farmhouse where the owners also live. Once you pass the grounds and outdoor lounge and dining area, you'll enter a foyer where, to your left, you'll find a small but efficient eat-in kitchen, equipped with a 2-burner stove, oven and microwave. To your left, you'll find the bedroom with a queen-sized bed and ensuite shower room (separate WC). The bedroom leads to the living room, with AC, and though the French doors takes you to an outside patio, equipped with a table, chairs and BBQ.

With close proximity, about 2 km or so, to the well-known town of Cavaillon, often known as the "Melon Capital of the World," Chez Joëlle offers both the comforts of al fresco living in your own little oasis but with all the amenities you need close by.

Although most famous for its surrounding fields of melon, which has given it the nickname "The Melon Capital of the World," Cavaillon has a heritage which can be enjoyed while strolling through its old districts. You will discover through it's maze of small streets in the historic center one of the most beautiful synagogues in Europe (XVIII°) and its Jewish museum, a cathedral of the XII° and its small cloister plus a Roman arch dating to the 1st century as well as beautiful old houses.

The owner, Joelle, for whom the apartment is named, looks forward to greeting her UnTours guests.
