Our staff person meets you at London Heathrow after you’ve gathered your luggage and passed through customs. He greets you and then connects you with the driver we’ve hired to take you to your apartment where you will either be met by a representative from the apartment rental agency or owner. The following day, you're invited to an orientation conducted by our staff person that's designed to give you more detailed information on how to use your transportation passes and possible day-trip ideas. It’s also an opportunity to ask any other questions about your stay.
If you’re unable to arrive by 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, or are coming from other parts of Europe, you will not be met by our staff person at the airport, but we can arrange to have our driving service pick you up upon your arrival in London and take you to your apartment. In this case, we will provide you with detailed instructions before you leave home.
If you are arriving by train, you will not be met by our on site staff person, but will be escorted to your apartment by our driving service. Similarly, precise instructions will be given before you leave the US.
Following the orientation session, you will be invited after a break to an Untours-sponsored dinner or given a day and time for a local cultural event.
