Our staff person meets you at CDG after you’ve gathered your luggage and passed through customs. She greets you and provides a package with your transportation and museum passes. She then connects you with the driver we’ve hired to take you to your apartment where you will either be met by a representative from the apartment rental agency or where you will find the keys left for you in the mailbox/Masterlock box (a small safe). The following day, around 3:00 p.m., you're invited to an orientation conducted by our staff person that's designed to give you more detailed information on how to use your transportation passes and possible day-trip ideas. It’s also an opportunity to ask any other questions about your stay.
If you’re unable to arrive by 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, or are coming from other parts of Europe, you will not be met by our staff person but we can arrange to have our driving service pick you up upon your arrival in Paris and take you to your apartment. In this case, we will provide you with detailed instructions before you leave home.
Following the orientation session held at a local restaurant in the Latin Quarter, there will be about 2 hours or so of free time for you to wander after which you are then invited to return for an Untours-sponsored dinner where guests can chat about their experiences over a three-course meal.
