This charming apartment is located in Fulham – close to The King’s Road which is well known for its excellent boutiques and restaurants. It is in a quiet spot opposite a small green with private tennis courts (to which you can have access). It is also just a few minutes walk from lovely Fulham Palace Gardens, Bishop’s Park, and the River Thames. Your nearest tube, less than 10 minutes on foot, is Putney Bridge (District line). But there’s a bus stop one minute from your door and the amazing #74 bus (every 6-10 minutes) will take you Central London and many of the famous sites. (Tip: The free London Bus Checker app (Android and iPhone) will tell you exactly when the next bus will arrive at your stop: Bishop’s Park Road.)
The flat is on the third floor (no lift). The entrance hallway leads to a comfortable drawing room which has a classic style with large windows and a cute little balcony. The room’s character comes from the mixture of beautiful antiques, two-seater sofa, variety of chairs and traditional artwork on the walls. There is a flat-screen TV with local digital channels for your entertainment. WiFi is also provided.
Next to the set of French doors is a rustic wooden dining table which can seat up to seven guests. The doors lead out onto a small sunny balcony which has its own little table and chairs and overlooks the tennis courts opposite.
The kitchen is modern in style with black countertops and sleek white cabinets. It has a breakfast bar with two stools, small flat-screen TV, oven with gas range, fridge-freezer, microwave, and dishwasher. The small utility room attached to the kitchen has a washing machine and dryer.
The master bedroom is an attractive room with mushroom-toned walls hung with artwork, fitted wardrobes and beautiful marble bedside tables with lamps. The room mixes modern with classic and has a queen-sized bed (60 inches wide).
The second bedroom also features antique furniture, fitted wardrobes and classic artwork. The room has a double bed (54 inches wide). The bathroom, along the hallway, is modern in style with a bath with shower.
The area provides a great base for visitors to stay. The property is in the heart of Fulham close to the River Thames, Bishop’s Park and Fulham Palace Gardens. Fulham Palace was formerly the country retreat of the Bishop of London. There is an abundance of restaurants and shops in the area as well as art galleries and unique boutiques. By bus or tube you can be in very central London quickly– and you have the advantage of being in a quiet, green residential neighborhood.

Fulham is a prime residential neighborhood on the Thames just southwest of Chelsea and south of Kensington. Fulham has several attractive parks, including Bishop's Park, the former country residence of the Bishops of London. Fulham High Street has many shops and restaurants as do other nearby areas. Fulham has excellent bus connections to central London. The District tube line has three stations in Fulham with great direct connections to Kensington and Westminster.
