Sloane Square is actually at the border of Chelsea, Knightsbridge, and Belgravia. The nearby Kings Road is known for its fashion boutiques and trendy restaurants and bars. Sloane Street is one of London’s most fashionable shopping streets. The neighborhood offers more than consumer delights, though. The Saatchi Gallery, at Sloane Square, is a world renowned center of contemporary art. Cadogan Hall is a venue for performances by some of the best classical and jazz artists and ensembles. Hyde Park is a ten minute walk away. The Ranelagh Gardens, home of the Chelsea Flower Show, are also about ten minutes away by foot. Within an easy 30 minutes walk are Buckingham Palace in one direction and the “Albertopolis” in the other with its numerous museums and the Royal Albert Hall. Public transportation access is excellent from Sloane Square with easy bus and tube access to other sections of Central London. There is no shortage of shops, cafes, restaurants, and pubs in the neighborhood.
