This charming one-bedroom apartment combines traditional architecture with a modern flourishes. Entering the hallway, you have a black and white tile floor in art deco style design that contrasts nicely with the wooden floors throughout the rest of the apartment. Past the hall is the large and bright living/dining area which has a large sofa (which can be made into a double bed) and a couple comfy armchairs and the TV as well as a small library. The kitchen overlooks the dining table for four and is equipped with a stove (2 burners), oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and a fridge/freezer. The bedroom with a double bed is just off the tiled entry hall as is the bathroom (shower stall) and separate WC.

Tenth Arrondissement, France - Paris, Home of St. Martin
If trying to answer simply what the 10th Arrondissement has to offer, you could say it's just two gares and a canal but that would be oversimplifying it. True, the Gare du Nord and the Gare de l'Est are the two largest train station in Paris and most folks don't tend to visit train stations but the 10th has much more to offer even without many major tourist sites, starting with the above-mentioned Canal Saint Martin, the waterway which cuts through the arrondissement and is well visited by walkers, readers, talkers and even the occasional fishermen.
For foodies, the 10th also features two of the last covered markets in the city, the Marché Saint-Quentin and Marché Saint-Martin. Though both markets offer the usual produce, meats, etc.. the Saint-Quentin market is highly regarded for its design, similar to the now-defunct Les Halles market, with thin iron frames that create high ceilings and an expanse of windows to let in lots of natural light and provide ventilation. The Marché Saint-Martin is a more eclectic space but known for some unique offerings such as a German grocery store that stocks smoked meats and plenty of German beer brands.
Also not to be missed is the courtyard of the Hôpital Saint-Louis, more or less a Place de Vosges without all the tourists as well as the Le Jardin Villemin, a small lush park that buts up against the canal. Overall, though not a touristy area, the 10th makes a great home base for that very reason.
