Local transportation in each place:
Switzerland: 8-day Swiss Saver Rail Pass valid on trains, buses, lake ships; free entry to over 400 museums in Switzerland.
Alsace: Car rental, with unlimited mileage and basic insurance.
Transfer between destinations: Train to Basel airport using your Swiss Rail Pass, pick up rental car, and drive to your apartment in Alsace following our detailed directions.
