Walking tour of Korcula Old Town .The walking tour of this magnificent town starts directly from the ship as it will be docked.
Our guide will explain why the Old Town of Korčula is a masterwork of architecture and urban planning where everything is built according to a plan. The layout of the town streets reminds of a fishbone in order to take advantage of the different winds to clear the air, something like a natural air conditioning system. Korcula is also known as the birthplace of the famous world traveler Marco Polo whose alleged birth house is right in the heart of the Old Town. Duration approx. 1.5 hrs

Leaving the town of Bar, we will enjoy the views along the beautiful Montenegrin coastline, beach resorts, towns and countryside. Our professional guide will give us a perspective about the life in Montenegro today, impressive history and the predictions for the future.
The road carries you on to Cetinje, a former royal capital of Montenegro, today a museum town. Here you will have a tour of this town of artists and history. On the main square, the former home of the royal family will be visited. After some free time to stroll around, aboard your vehicle/bus for a drive to Budva.
Upon arrival to Budva, have a short walk to the Old Town, which lies on a little island that was linked to the land by a sandbar and in time turned into a peninsula. It is surrounded by ramparts originating from the XV century including a medieval fortification system with city gates, defense walls and towers. Inside the walls the town is a combination of narrow streets and little squares with valuable monuments of different Mediterranean cultures that marked its development. Today Budva is a center of tourism and a city of theatre, festivals and celebrations. At the end of the tour, lunch will be organized.
On the way back to Bar, stop for a panoramic view over the luxurious St. Stefan island. Once a fishing village on a rock in the sea, is now a modern resort connected to the mainland. The cobble streets, stone houses and rooftops remind us of a nest in which rural construction halted, separate forever from modern civilization. Duration approximately 6.5 hours

Achilleion Palace, Mouse Island Photo Stop & Corfu town
After a 20 minute drive from the port we reach the Achilleion Palace, built by the Empress Elisabeth “Sissy” of Austria in 1891, and later owned by Kaiser Wilhelm II of Germany. We will visit its interior halls, the terrace and the gorgeous gardens offering spectacular views over the Ionian Sea. The gardens, full of exotic trees and flowers from around the world are adorned with classical statues as she was very fond of Greek Ancient History and Mythology.
The tour continues to Corfu Town with a photo stop at the picturesque Mouse Island, the most photographed subject on the island. Once in the Old Town Quarter right on foot of the Venetian Fortress (14th ct. UNESCO), our guide takes us to the heart of the historic centre. Walk along the most elegant quarters and narrow cobble stone streets, see the old cricket grounds – a tradition left over by the British – and the Royal Palace of St. George & St. Michael, an imposing building built entirely of yellow Maltese. Passing by the arcades of the Liston Piazza, built by the French– we reach the heart of the old town to visit the 300-year old Church of Saint Spiridon with its priceless collection of icons and gifts. Exploring the old colorful flee-market we will cross the old Town Hall to reach the busy shopping district for some free time to stroll around until returning back to the ship. Our coach will take us through the lush Corfiot countryside heading to the west coast towards Paleokastritsa village. According to the legend this was the location where Odysseus met Nausica after his shipwreck. Enjoy beautiful views en route as centuries-old olive groves, picturesque villages and the many sandy bays and coves with incredibly turquoise water. Have time at leisure in the village or visit the Monastery of Virgin Mary, founded in 1228, located on a cliff with unrivalled views and inhabited by monks (dress code for Monastery visit).
Right at the bottom of Paleokastritsa, there are two fantastic beaches where we will stop for some relaxing beach time.
The tour will continue through old high hill villages towards the centre of the island passing fertile valleys, Cypress and lemon trees, until we reach the idyllic location of a family farm estate. The owners produce authentic gourmet products, wine, olive oil, over 30 different herbs and spices. After a warm welcome with a seasonal home made drink we will hear about the history and traditional practices, the local wild flora and the culinary culture, with a tasting of two wines, olives, home made bread and other unusual local delicacies. Leaving the tranquil settings we will reach Corfu port after a short drive.

Situated on the Straits of Corfu, and surrounded by a picturesque lagoon, it is one of the most remarkable archaeological sites in the Adriatic Sea region, and a proud owner of remains dating from 6.ct BC. The Greeks, Byzantines, Romans, Venetians, Ottomans and many other wanted to own this little peninsula for its beauty and also strategic position. Following twelve years of archaeological excavations the site and its museum make it an exceptionally attractive place to visit. Our guide will take us on a short walk along the Saranda promenade before returning back onboard.Duration approximately 3.5 hours

Scenic drive up the national park - Mount Lovcen, with a visit to the cradle of world’s finest prosciuttos – Njegusi village. We depart Kotor and continue along steep slopes to Lovcen Mountain. This is an area of powerful contrasts. To one side tower the cold Montenegrin mountains and opposite them you will find the wealth and mildness of one of the most beautiful bays in the world. We stop in the picturesque Village of Njegusi where we will visit the “smoked” house show room with the presentation of authentic objects from Montenegrin history, and see tasty hams drying from the rooftop, spreading tempting smell of delicious prosciutto..

Kotor - Montenegrin Hidden Gem – Montenegro

Guided walking tour through the UNESCO protected Old Town of Kotor
This walking tour is perfect to get to know Kotor's medieval quarter, its bustling market and beautiful Renaissance buildings. The well preserved fortified walls of Kotor were built by a Venetian in 1420 and continued being strengthened until the 18th ct. Enclosing the whole Old town, the 5 km long walls formed an unique fortification project which could resist attacks from the sea for months and survive long sieges.
Our tour includes a visit to Cathedral of St. Tryphon which was constructed in 1166 and built on the remains of a former temple from the 9th ct. We will see the remains from 14th ct frescos and the valuable treasury with both local and Venetian golden works (14th- 20th ct).
After the sightseeing tour you can walk back to the pier or enjoy free time on your own.

Cable Car to the Dubrovnik View point & Guided city walk. Departing the ship by bus toward the newly open Cable Car Station situated in vicinity of the Old Town of Dubrovnik. Upon arrival to the Cable Car Station you will proceed with a cable car to a panoramic view of Dubrovnik from the surrounding hill. From here you will be offered a bird’s – eye view of the greatness of the entire city and surroundings of the centuries – old Dubrovnik rooftops which you will never forget.
Upon return to the main Station the tour guide will lead you by foot to the Old Town of Dubrovnik for the walking tour of the old town of Dubrovnik, encircled by its monumental stone ramparts, which have preserved and enhanced Dubrovnik’s spirit of Renaissance. You will be awed by the labyrinth of short, narrow stone streets, the market place, palaces, towers, monasteries and houses, each of which is over 300 years old! The old masters understood how to construct a miraculously harmonious stone city. Dubrovnik was the bridge and diplomatic liaison between the east and west. It has been subject to fires and catastrophic earthquakes, but has always risen again like the “Phoenix” to retain its renown as world – famous treasury of cultural monuments!
