Andalusia for the first time: Part 2

Submitted by
Here’s the second installment in a 9-week photoblog by Sonia Ratcliffe about her first trip to Andalusia.

After Cordoba, I made my way to beautiful Carcabuey.

Before entering the village: who would have thought that views from a junkyard would be pretty?! You can see the ruined castle in the top-left.

View onto the quaint streets from the Iglesia Parroquial de la Asuncion.

Walking up to the ruined castle

Maria Santisima de los Dolores – inside the church of the ruined castle grounds.

Don’t forget to check back next Wednesday for my pics from the next stop on my Andalusian adventure, Zuheros!
