One of our UnTours Foundation loan recipients, Tosheka Designs, is hoping to raise funds this month through Kickstarter, a website that has helped raise over $500 million for 40,000 projects. Kickstarter accepts – or not – your request to fund your art, technology, or perhaps social justice project. It then posts the request for all to see. A funding goal and time limit are included. If the financial goal is not met within that time, none of the pledgers give their money. It’s not a PBS fundraising drive; it’s all of nothing.
