Although UnTours are about so much more than the great apartments you stay in, we want to give you an idea of the types of apartments we have to help you make more informed decisions when choosing your Untour. So, each week, we’ll be featuring a property for you. Enjoy!

Springl
When you think about staying in the Austrian countryside, do “Edelweiss” or “My Favorite Things” ring in your ears? Or, do you think about frolicking through the fields of Salzburg? Perhaps you’re more of a geologist and want to check out the salt mines for which Salzburg is named?

If any of the above apply to you, then you simply must go to Salzburg and stay in our Springl apartment in Kuchl, which is just a 30-minute ride outside the city. Head to the Salzburg Landestheater to see Sound of Music performed for the first time in Salzburg. If salt mines are more your speed, then take our advice from the other day and check out the Hallein Salt Mine – the oldest salt mine in the world that is still open to the public.

Want to stay closer to “home?” Kuchl’s village center is a short walk from the Springl apartment and is packed with charming restaurants, markets, florists and craft shops. Just 5 minutes away (on foot) is the train station, from where you can easily access Salzburg, Munich, Vienna and more.

The Springl apartment is perfect for a group of 4 – its comfy two bedrooms and spacious second-floor layout gives you the room you need to relax after a fun day exploring. A sleeper sofa in the living room, along with WiFi and cable TV make this a great family destination.
