Stay in Central Scotland
The Mill Creek apartment is located in a converted mill in the lovely cathedral city of Dunblane. The mill was converted into apartments in the mid 1980s.
The apartment enjoys a lovely setting by the Allan Water. It is comprised of a hallway, two bedrooms (one single and one double), a large bathroom with shower stall, and a living room/dining area. The well appointed kitchen was remodeled in 2022. All rooms have big windows and overlook the river, so does the lovely patio area. The apartment is equipped with Wi-Fi, a washing machine and dishwasher. You will enjoy the wonderfully soothing sound of the Allan Water and the small indoor swimming pool.
This apartment would be ideal for guests who want to spend some time in their hometown and stop and smell the roses. There are lovely walks on both banks of the river. A bridge links to the city centre in about 10 minutes. The railway station is a 10-15-minute walk and provides a commuter link to Glasgow, Edinburgh and further north. The A9 motorway is only minutes away. The owners do not live nearby, and our staff person will act as a liaison.
The owners have made upgrades to the living room, kitchen and bathroom in the winter of 2022 (see photos).

Dunblane, UK - Central Scotland, Home of Mill Creek
Dunblane, 5 miles northwest of Stirling, is a lovely town with a great sense of community. It was voted one of the best places to live in Scotland. You will enjoy its friendly people (population 9,000) and small town atmosphere. It is home to a very well-preserved Gothic cathedral, a small history museum, a good array of restaurants & pubs, several grocery stores, and a butcher.
Lately, locals and tourists alike have been flocking to the very popular Tilly's Tea Room, and we highly recommend you visit as well. The 2013 Wimbledon winner Andy Murray is a native son. You’ll find lovely walking on both banks of the Allan Water. Dunblane enjoys good train connections to Stirling (5 mins), Edinburgh, and Glasgow.

The setting along the Allan Water, short, scenic walk into Dunblane was wonderful The apartment itself was clean, comfortable, roomy and nicely furnished for us. We really liked having a washing machine during our 2-week stay.

The apartment and patio were perfect for us. But, most impressive was the location. It is a few yards from the Alan River and a choice of two beautiful trails - a 10-15 minute walk to 'downtown' Dunblane. (note: we did not rent a car for this UnTours adventure).

It's an attractive, functional apartment in a BEAUTIFUL spot. A lovely 20 minute walk from the train, through the park along the water. Plus, the Tesco super market is right next to the station, so we would get off the train, do some shopping, and then walk home, which was very convenient. And we managed quite well - with Google's help - to do what we wanted to, using only trains and buses.

The Mill Creek Apartment was just wonderful! This was our fourth UnTours apartment and each time we have been delighted with our selection. The apartment was in an historic building and right on Allan Water. We could walk to the train station on one side of the river...and into town on the other...the walkways were abloom with flowers. We loved Dunblane...we walked everywhere and fell in love with this small Scottish town.

We loved the setting of the flat overlooking the creek. The easy and beautiful walk into Dunblane made for a pleasant trip into town. The refrigerator was thoughtfully stocked for a good start. Although the flat is small, it was clean and had all that we needed to spend a comfortable week. The shower was terrific! Also the location within Scotland lends itself to traveling to lots of other great sights to see.
