Monday Memories: Erika

This week’s Monday Memory is from Untourists Margaret and Pete Haggart.

In 2007, we visited Vienna for a week as an add-on to our two weeks in the Heartland of Switzerland.

I taught film history for many decades at the University of Idaho and Vienna provided an opportunity to get my picture taken in front of the movie theater “Erika,” which is the longest running movie theater in the world—showing films since 1900!

No bus tour would have included that on their itinerary—that’s why we love exploring cities via UnTours!

Thanks to Margaret and Pete for sharing their wonderfully cinematic memory!
