Carola's Cottage, a Victorian agricultural building turned cottage, is nestled within its own enclosed garden, boasting picturesque vistas of the majestic Ben Ledi to the west and tranquil farmland to the south. Guests are invited to wander through the nearby castle gardens, located just three-quarters of a mile away. This cozy cottage comprises an en-suite king-size bedroom complete with a convenient shower room. Additionally, the second bedroom, furnished with two separate twin beds, has access to a bathroom with a tub/shower. The heart of the cottage is a bright and airy open-plan living room, dining area, and kitchen, bathed in natural light streaming through a west-facing window and French doors that open to the southern views. Step outside onto the inviting patio, equipped with a table, chairs, and a barbecue, perfect for enjoying al fresco dining. The cottage is situated entirely on the ground floor with no steps. The living room has a log-burning stove with logs provided by the owner. The owners live one mile away and are available by telephone and email. The cottage is some 2.5 miles from Dunblane, which offers grocery stores and a number of very good restaurants next to sightseeing. For golf enthusiasts, renowned courses such as Gleneagles are a mere 15-minute drive away.
Families will be delighted to discover that there are two additional accommodations situated on the castle grounds.

Dunblane, UK - Central Scotland, Home of Carola's Cottage
Dunblane, 5 miles northwest of Stirling, is a lovely town with a great sense of community. It was voted one of the best places to live in Scotland. You will enjoy its friendly people (population 9,000) and small town atmosphere. It is home to a very well-preserved Gothic cathedral, a small history museum, a good array of restaurants & pubs, several grocery stores, and a butcher.
Lately, locals and tourists alike have been flocking to the very popular Tilly's Tea Room, and we highly recommend you visit as well. The 2013 Wimbledon winner Andy Murray is a native son. You’ll find lovely walking on both banks of the Allan Water. Dunblane enjoys good train connections to Stirling (5 mins), Edinburgh, and Glasgow.
