Rome Centro, Italy - Rome, Home of Nico

The part of the city we call Rome Centro encompasses the historic center of the city and the area immediately around it, within the ancient city walls, on the east side of the Tiber. It is a large area that encompasses most of Rome’s most famous sites: the Spanish Steps and Borghese Gardens to the north, the Termini train station to the east and the Coloseum and Forum to the south. This area includes favorite sites like the Trevi Fountain, the Piazza Navona, the Pantheon and Campo dei Fiori. The Rome Centro area is big and distances to some major sites are easy to underestimate, but the area is served by an intricate web of bus and subway routes. Excellent transportation makes it easy move around in this area.

Landlord

The Nico apartment is owned by a man who lives in another section of Rome, so his interaction with guests is minimal. But our Rome UnTour staff person is always available by cell phone if guests have problems or concerns.

Reviews

Here's what our guests have to say

★★★★★

The location and neighborhood were simply outstanding! It is within walking distance of many wonderful markets, cafes, and restaurants with easy bus connections as well. It felt bright, airy, spacious, and was generally extremely well equipped. It was very comfortable for relaxing during downtime or having breakfast or an aperitif on the terrace. We slept comfortably; the sound-blocking windows worked well and the AC fan provided good air circulation.

The Landlord was so sweet and helpful. The computer and internet were a great plus. The balcony was wonderful. This is the best UnTour apartment we have stayed in.

Most wonderful owner. Excellent location for bus and subway. Everything nearby: stores, restaurants. Loved the patio; ate out there many times. Loved the sounds from down below (5 stories), people, restaurants, music, etc.

Flavia was located in a great neighborhood. We used the Via 20 Settembre bus stops, which were only 1 block away.

We enjoyed the quiet location and all the shops on the street.

★★★★★

"The bed was extremely firm. It was just fine with us, but some might find it a bit uncomfortable. The patio was FABULOUS. It was so great to be able to eat dinner outside amid the plants and flowers up on the top floor of a hotel. Also great for drying laundry. And having a computer was really, really nice too."
