Christos was a wonderful resource for us. We all became very fond of him, and are extremely grateful for his many kindnesses and infinite patience with our large group.

So much to see, so little time. All the locations visited were awesome. Hard to grasp places and artifacts dating B.C. Great food everywhere and drives through countryside were beautiful.

We loved Nafplio, a perfect place to spend 2 weeks...we loved exploring the peninsula, had a GRAND time!

Living in old city of Nafplio. Experiencing the Greek way of life, the markets (where we shopped for fresh food to do some of our own cooking), the church bells ringing, the tavernas, the bakery to get fresh bread and pastries every day, great food, drinks overlooking the harbor, laughs with Christos ("of course"). In summary your taking care of the basics e.g. flight, housing and car and leaving the rest to us. One morning I was out walking and saw the arrival of the many many people from the Holland American cruise ship coming in, boarding buses, and I was SO thankful I wasn't part of that.

We felt we were part of the town of Nafplio by the end of our trip. Even started driving like a Greek! The driving and parking by everyone was fascinating! But, it works! Amazing how you can squeeze your car into the tiniest space! Under our apartment was a shoe store (my husband would always walk by fast!) Finally, in the second week, I had to stop in and bought some sandals...after that, everyday the owner would come out to greet us with "good morning" and I would answer "kalimera" and he would smile....it's those little things that make these trips special!

I can't think of a thing I'd have changed--Nafplio won our hearts.

The town food, and people were all wonderful.

After a pleasant cocktail hour we left the apartment at sundown, with the sun reflecting off the terrazzo, and headed toward the waterfront in search of a restaurant for ‘locals.’ We came upon a very unassuming place, filled with a boisterous group from the northern part of Greece, and they encouraged us to join them. (The Greeks are among the friendliest people I've ever encountered!) The next few hours were filled with song, dance, good food, much laughter, the acting out of a pretend wedding--and my husband and I were in the middle of it all. Nafplio will live forever in our travel memories.

The whole trip was really wonderful. There is so much to see and do it is hard to fit it all into two weeks.

Nafplio was lovely, great for relaxing, people watching, ice coffee, and jewelry shopping.

The apartment was so great with the balconies and big kitchen. I loved going to the markets and buying produce and cheese and really eating in the Mediterranean style.

What a treat to feel you can become part of a country, even if only for a short time!

Greece was the trip of a lifetime. It was everything we expected and more.

The area is full of things to see - historical and just plain beautiful.

This was one of my all time favorite vacations, and I have traveled a lot!
