Zagrilla Alta itself is a small hamlet with no grocery store and a nearby bar/restaurant but the surrounding landscape and the various natural springs throughout town lend true rural charm to your stay.
Though a steep drive to the parking spot and entrance, this 4-bedroom, 2-bath house is almost all on the ground level with one twin-bedded bedroom up in a mezzanine 12 steps up from the living/dining room area. The house opens up to the living room and dining area, equipped with two large sofas and large dining table. Three of the bedrooms, one with a double bed and two with twin beds are all on the same ground level as are the two bathrooms, each with a shower stall. The small but efficient kitchen, which includes a two-burner stove, electric oven, microwave and dishwasher, will cover most of your cooking needs. For a group of friends or a family, the Casa Zagrilla provides a pleasant and beautiful home from which to enjoy Andalusia's wonderful sites.

Zagrilla Alta, Spain - Andalusia, Home of Casa Zagrilla
One Andalusia's white villages, or Pueblos Blancos, Zagrilla Alta is a sleepy little village that has little in the way of commerce but right on the edge of the Subbética Natural Park so quite a lovely setting. There is one bar restaurant but the nearby Villa Turistica of Priego, think a hotel complex made to look like a white village, offers a more upscale bar and restaurant only 1km away. Natural springs throughout the town are a local source of drinking water, too.
