Domenico
The next time you vacation in Florence, make sure you stay in the Santa Croce section of the city. Here, you’ll not only find our lovely Domenico apartment, you’ll also find some relaxation – if you want to avoid the hub bub of Florence, while still being close to the action, Santa Croce is the place to stay.
The Domenico is a lovingly restored, spacious apartment in the heart of Florence, in the Santa Croce section. This second floor apartment is easily accessed via elevator and offers air conditioning, a modern kitchen with a dishwasher and an internet connection just waiting for your laptop.
Santa Croce is just outside the most touristed part of Florence so you’ll be staying in a more residential area with excellent cultural sites (like Casa Buonarroti, a house owned by Michalangelo), restaurants and theaters, but just a 10-minute walk to see the more famous sites like Ponte Vecchio and the Duomo. You’ll also be right next to the locals’ favorite spot for food shopping, the Sant’Ambrogio Market.
Staying in Santa Croce gives you easy walking access to the great sites of Florence, while offering a more local experience as well.
