Although Untours are about so much more than the great apartments you stay in, we want to give you an idea of the types of apartments we have to help you make more informed decisions when choosing your Untour. So, each week, we’ll be featuring a property for you. Enjoy!

Vlasska
When I reminisce about my trip to Prague, one of my best memories is a night that we happened upon a jazz club in town. We thought, “they know about jazz in Prague?!” and decided to head in to check it out. Well, it turns out they know jazz pretty darn well. I’m pretty certain we didn’t catch the cats at Reduta or Akord one of the many other great places they have there but it was definitely worthy of some finger-snaps.

Staying in the Mala Strana section of town keeps you close enough (just a 20-minute walk) to spend your day exploring Prague‘s fabulous old town, then heading to a great jazz club after dinner. Even then, you’ll still only have a 20-25 minute walk home, taking in beautiful sights as you cross the lovely Charles Bridge over the Vltava river back to your neighborhood.

Should you decide to stay in Mala Strana (it means “Lesser Town” but we disagree!) for the day, you’ll be surrounded by landmarks like Wallenstein Palace, Petrin Hill, Písek Gate and Prague Castle, among other visual delights. If Mala Strana sounds like your speed, then our Vlasska apartment is definitely a great fit.

From the apartment, you can see beautiful Prague Castle and walk through town, enjoying centuries of architectural stylings. The historic building which houses Vlasska dates back to the 14th century but is, by no means, dated: free WiFi and English-language TV are just a few modern-day amenities.

Not only is it filled with rich history, beautiful architecture and cool jazz, but Prague is also a very safe city – one of the 50 safest in the world!

But, don’t just take our word for it, take it from someone who has been to Prague and stayed in the Vlasska apartment. Untourist Elgenia Ross has this to say about her experience there:

“Prague was a wonderful experience. We walked everywhere…from the castle and Petrin Hill to the Charles Bridge. We felt safe walking, even at night.”

So, when are you going to Prague?
