We miss travel. We miss France. We miss the the vineyards of Southern France. Our UnTours at Home series has helped us bridge the time until we can return to Europe. Our Provence Untour staff person Anne Plomb has helped bring France to us on Zoom.
Before travel was suspended, Anne hosted Wine and Food UnTours in Provence, in addition to hosting our regular Provence Untour stays. She is a trained sommelier and leads in-person tastings and vineyard tours in all the major wine regions of Southern France, and we were lucky she was able to parlay her knowledge into some fun virtual travel events for us.
Here is one of the videos Anne created with her daughter, a trip into the revered Châteauneuf-du-Pape wine region of Provence. Anne has shared this armchair experience with us and presented on the wines of the region for a couple UnTours at Home events. She continues to offer private wine tasting events on Zoom.
