Interested in Dedicated Fair Trade Businesses?
Across the US and Canada, lots of dedicated, holistic fair trade businesses are thriving. These business owners keep fair trade at the heart of every business decision they make and work to maintain an ongoing dialogue on fair trade practices in North America.
Fair trade-minded individuals – including entrepreneurs, students, advocates, and even plain-old-curious folks who are interested in this sustainable business model – are invited to join the conversation at the Fair Trade Federation’s annual conference, which is open to the public.
This yearly event provides a place for guests to learn practical skills on the advancement of small and large fair trade businesses, participate in workshops and social activities, and attend the Fair Trade Expo, a marketplace of wholesale product vendors showcasing quality fair trade products.
“We’re especially excited to host the conference in Raleigh this year,” says Renee Bowers, Executive Director of the Fair Trade Federation. “There’s a vibrant community of fair trade businesses in North Carolina doing great work.”
