As we launch into our second full season of the Ireland UnTour in County Kerry, it seems a good time to see what guests are saying about our UnTour in Kenmare. Here are some recent comments from guests.

This was our fourth UnTour and exceeded all our expectations. Ireland is truly a beautiful place to visit with UnTours’ help. – Betty Johnson

Neil, our on-site contact, was exceptional and well prepared for our arrival. He answered all our questions and it was wonderful knowing we had someone who was there for us if we needed anything – like a visit to a doctor for a bad cold. He also has a wonderful sense of humor, and seemed to appear MAGICALLY anytime we had questions. Is he a leprechaun?  – Jacqueline Johnson (See Jacqueline’s trip photos here.)

Neil provided us with great support! He gave us advice on driving on the left, and information on in-town as well as out-of-town sights to visit. We had ready access to him, as he was just a few doors down from the townhouse when we had questions.

We enjoyed living in the townhouse because of the easy access to Kenmare historical sites, restaurants, and shops. Everyone we met in town was pleasant and courteous. The easy access to the region, walks in the parks, the mountains, the bays, and the Atlantic provided full days of wonder and delight! And the two ice cream shops just a few minutes walk from our townhouse were a real bonus!

Kenmare was a great choice for us to stay in Ireland, as we enjoyed having walking access to its many amenities, and close access to the Ring of Kerry and the Ring of Beara. And we met so many pleasant and courteous Irish residents in the shops and restaurants! – Charlene Bonham.

We had a great time visiting the Ring of Beara, the Ring of Kerry, the Dingle Peninsula, and golfing. We especially enjoyed the town of Kenmare where we shopped, went to the library for WiFi and had many great meals and heard authentic Irish music. We appreciated not being on a tour bus, but doing our own thing and getting to know the locals. – Clifford Baker

Spending time in Kenmare was a wonderful experience. The people were friendly, helpful and a lot of fun. The restaurant and pub food was above expectation. We had an amazing dinner at Mulcahy’s. – James Purtill 16

I loved the Kenmare Lace. We took a class on lace making. The host was wonderful. Also the welcoming night at Molly Gallivan’s the food, people, and play were the best. Any place we went was beautiful and new. What a lovely trip thanks to UnTour. – Vicky Johnson (See Vicky’s photos here.)

See Ireland for yourself! Meet Neil, drive the ring of Kerry, discover, hidden Beara Peninsula, and settling into the pubs of Kenmare for a pint and some live music.
