UnTours Blog readers may remember a post last month from our UnTours Swiss colleague Jessica Powers. She is American born but lives in Switzerland, in Interlaken.
Jessica reported on her impressions of Coronavirus planning and restrictions in their early days in the American west and in Switzerland. She also mentioned she enjoys social distance walking in the area around her home.
In the weeks since, Jessica has shared some images of her walks with us, and of the beauty of Switzerland in bloom.
In town, Interlaken is in bloom. (Those who follow UnTours on Instagram may have seen some of these images there!)
The riot of color in Interlaken gives Holland a run for its money!
Hikes have offered peace, and a nice relief to the stress of world events.
Alpine views, clean air, and sweeping views help keep her grounded and well.
In gardens and cities too, the beauty of spring is irrepressible.
We hope the sun is shining and local colors are blooming where you are too! In these stressful days, don’t forget to stop and smell the flowers.
We wish you safety and hope you can get outside to enjoy the blooms in your area.
Stay safe and well, and we hope you will be able to travel with us again soon, to Switzerland or another of our beautiful UnTours destinations. In the meantime, thanks to Jessica for sharing htese photos with us!
