Day 1: Embark in Amsterdam, The Netherlands

Arrive in Amsterdam and board your luxurious river cruise ship. (D)

Day 2: Amsterdam, The Netherlands

Delight in the picturesque canals of Amsterdam, where 165 waterways wind through the city like veins of cultural history. The serene canals offer a glimpse into the city's past, setting the stage for your onward journey to Germany. (B,L,D)

Day 3: Cologne, Germany

Journey toward majestic Cologne, home to one of Germany's shining jewels, the Cologne Cathedral - a brilliantly crafted Gothic masterpiece. Our tailored guided tour introduces you to the UNESCO-designated cathedral and leads you through the winding alleys of the Old Town, exploring Cologne Rathaus, Germany's oldest town hall, the Overstolzenhaus, and the Festival Hall. For those seeking a unique perspective on the city, we invite you to partake in a visit to one of the local taverns to savor the famed Kölsch beer, exclusively made in Cologne, and indulge in the delicious Reibekuchen - a potato pancake that tantalizes the tastebuds when served with a rich apple sauce. Day 4: Lahnstein

Today you have a choice to visit Burg Lahneck, a medieval 13th-century castle, located in the city of Lahnstein, or you can go to Ehrenbreitstein Fortress to take the aerial cable car over the Rhine to Koblenz, which boasts a rich history spanning more than 2,000 years. Those seeking a more active adventure can explore the area on the “Two Rivers Bike Tour,” which takes you along both the Rhine and Moselle rivers; or go on a hike around Lahnstein to Lahneck Castle. Day 5: Cochem - Moselle Valley

Spend the morning taking in the beauty of the Moselle on this scenic stretch of the river before reaching Cochem with its half-timbered houses and Reichsburg Castle. Join a guided tour through the castle and then walk through its enchanting Old Town. For those wishing to have a more active exploration of the area, you can go on a guided hike to the castle. Day 6: Trier - Moselle Valley

Set sail for Trier, Germany’s oldest city and the so-called “Rome of the North,” where you'll explore impressive Roman relics and all nine UNESCO World Heritage Sites (yes, nine!). Day 7: Bernkastel

Day 10: Strasbourg, France

Strasbourg, the capital of Alsace, perfectly blends the flavors of France and Germany due to its unique border location. Explore its enchanting streets and admire the majestic Cathédrale de Nôtre Dame with its famous astronomical clock.
