La Rambla

Comfortable two-bedroom central apartment in Barcelona

Stay in Barcelona

La Rambla is Barcelona's best known avenue for strolling, dining, shopping at street stands, and watching street performers. Our La Rambla apartment offers all the advantages of proximity to the action, without the noise one would expect.

The property has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two twin beds. It has a combined dining room/living room with access to a rear-facing balcony. The kitchen is compact but well equipped. The bathroom has a bathtub/shower combination. The living room and bedrooms have hardwood floors. There are air conditioning units in the living room and in each bedroom.

The Drassanes metro station is very close. Getting to Sagrada Familia takes about 25 minutes by metro. Restaurants and shops abound in this part of the city. The covered Boqueria market is less than 10 minutes walk up La Rambla.

Note that the pictures were taken using a wide-angle lens, making the rooms appear larger than they are.

WiFi speed as of 4/30/21 300 Mbps Down/300Mbps Up

Port Vell and Barri Gotíc, Spain - Barcelona, Home of La Rambla

El Barri Gotic is the very heart of Barcelona. It is here that you will find the remnants of the city's Roman past, wander the narrow alleyways from the 15th Century and observe the largest concentration of Gothic buildings anywhere in Europe.

The area is full of important sights to visit including the Cathedral La Seu, Placa del Rei, Palau de la Generalitat de Catalunya and the Casa de la Ciutat. The real charm of el Barri Gotic, however, is the pleasure derived from simply strolling the narrow streets of the quarter. Glance up between the buildings and you will be greeted with sightings of wrought iron balconies with Spanish tile bottoms, blooming flowers and bright shafts of sunlight. On the street level of almost every building are stores, cafes and tapas bars that are just as popular with the locals as they are with visitors.

To the south of el Barri Gotic is Port Vell, the old port. Previously almost abandoned, the Port has undergone a transformation since the 1992 Olympics. During the day, strolling along the beaches under the sun can make for a relaxing day while at night the area livens up as locals and tourists alike come to dine at the best seafood restaurants the city has to offer. The largest aquarium in Europe is also housed here, offering spectacular educational displays of over 11,000 animals!
