The Bluemli is a comfortable, attractively furnished one-bedroom apartment with a wonderful view of the mountains and a partial view of Lake Thun. It is situated in a residential neighborhood above the train station.
The spacious apartment has a bedroom with combined twin beds (TV), a bathroom with shower, a large living room/dining room area (TV), and a well equipped kitchen. The apartment is decorated in a traditional style, but with a modern flair. The living space is open and airy, with good light and comfortable places to lounge. The kitchen has a small table with bar stools suitable for quick meals and snacks. There is even a nice garden with a table and chairs for an evening glass of wine or a morning coffee. The large garden has a pretty, small pond. The apartment has Wi-Fi.
The train station can be reached in about 10 minutes (downhill from apartment). A bus to/from the train station goes right in front of the house and can save walking time if the schedule works. There is a bakery with some additional basic groceries just down the street. The Migros supermarket is across from the train station. There are a variety of restaurants near the station as well.

Spiez, Switzerland - Oberland, Home of Bluemli
Spiez is a lakeside town of nearly 13,000 inhabitants. It’s between the charming city of Thun and the international resort town of Interlaken. It’s also close to the gorgeous hiking village of Kandersteg to the south.
Spiez has a Migros supermarket, a number of nice restaurants, and various stores and shops. Spiez is also known for its bright, crisp white wine, made in very small quantities from local vineyards. There is even a museum focused on the long history of local winemaking. Spiez also has a small castle, parts of which date back to 933.
Rail travel from Spiez is very convenient with frequent direct trains to Interlaken; Thun; Bern, Basel; Zurich Airport; and less frequent trains even to Milan, Italy and Hamburg, Germany. Boat services on Lake Thun are accessed from the ship station at the bottom of the town. There’s no better way to experience the lake than on a comfortable lake ship.
