Wine and Food ItineraryHere are the activities that are included in the Andalusia Wine and Food Untour. This is a sample itinerary. (The final itinerary may vary somewhat.)
Wednesday: Arrival in Andalusia, time to settle in and explore.
Thursday: Untours orientation session, followed by a local event and lunch, then a free afternoon.
Friday: Cooking in Subbetica
You will start by visiting a Mycological Garden to see the various mushrooms that grow in the region. Then you will experience a cooking class with the chef of a respected local restaurant. Learn to prepare specialties of this unique section of Andalusia.
Saturday: Visit to a goat cheese factory
You will visit the cheese factory in Zuheros and taste several kinds of cheeses produced from the milk of goats live in the La Subbetica National Park. Then you will enjoy lunch in the cheese factory restaurant, tasting dishes made from goat cheese. After lunch you can visit the white village of Zuheros on your own.
Sunday: Time to explore on your own.
Monday: A day in Montilla-Moriles
First you will visit an olive oil mill to learn how extra virgin olive oil is produced. Then you will visit the well known Alvear winery in Montilla to taste the delicious white wines that made the area famous. Finally, you’ll have lunch at a local restaurant pairing local wines with local dishes. A bus will be provided so that you can fully enjoy this experience.
Tuesday:Time to explore on your own.
Wednesday: Depart for home, or relax and stay another week.
