1. Tell us a little bit about your most recent Untour and why you chose to go there?
My son and I did one week on the Rhine and one week at the Castle in Germany and one week in Salzburg in Austria. Our most exciting thing we wanted to see was Neuschwanstein Castle and I wanted to return to Rothenburg ob der Tauber, the Rhine area, and Salzburg as I had been to each of these places years ago.
2. What is your favorite UnTours memory?
Approaching Neuschwanstein Castle on the road through the mountains was unforgettable. My son had grown up with a poster of this castle on his wall in his bedroom and was very interested in seeing it for real!
3. How is taking an Untour different from other ways of traveling?
UnTours is just living, not being “packaged” and sort of sanitized. Everything is under your own control. You feel just like you live there and don’t stand out as a herd of tourists such as you would on a tour of some kind.
4. If you could describe an Untour in just three words, what would they be?
Travel is everything!
