Located in the small, historic, picturesque village of Saint-Hippolyte, the La Cour 3 apartment accompanies the two other La Cour properties and offers a quiet and comfortable home base for exploring all of Alsace. The English-speaking owner, Michel, have been hosting UnTours guests for a few years now and is well liked.
The apartment is set on the 2nd floor above the cellar of what was once a granary. The entrance is into the open living/kitchen/dining area. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, and all that's necessary to prepare your meals. The living area has a large sofa and HD TV. The dining table for four leads onto the private balcony that looks out over the quiet courtyard and has a small table and chairs.
The main bedroom has a double bed, wardrobe and drawer chest while the smaller bedroom has a single twin bed and drawer chest.
The balcony adds to the charm of this lovely in-town accommodation. Guests can enjoy all the St. Hippolyte's atmosphere by foot and explore the wine route and other regional sites easily by car from this central location.

Saint Hippolyte, France - Alsace, Home of La Cour 3
At the foot of the Vosges Mountains and castle Haut-Koenigsbourg lies this sleepy old village the core of which is 3 parallel streets cut by side streets and alleys between half-timbered houses. The northern most and perhaps quietest of our wine route villages, St. Hippolyte is still completely surrounded by its wall. Inside the wall, you will be charmed by the double square of its town hall and 14th century gothic church and flower decked fountain dating from 1555. This is the 2nd place where Alsatian red wine originates---Rouge de Saint Hippolyte (a pinot noir) and an excellent place to sample it. A nice break from the well worn tourist path would be a meal at the typically Alsatian restaurant Hupsa Pfannala. It’s building has been in use since 1506. There is a wonderful bakery on the square and other restaurants in town.
