Stay in The Amalfi Coast
The Papa apartment offers true Mediterranean style, in a simple yet elegant atmosphere. It has white-washed walls and fixtures with accents in red to add to the warmth of this vacation rental apartment. The living room/kitchen combination features a pullman kitchen with two burners and a toaster oven. There are table and chairs enough for four, along with a comfortable, red sofa for relaxing. The bedroom, with a view onto the sea, has an Italian queen bed.
The most impressive feature of this apartment are its two external areas. There is a large balcony furnished with table and chairs as well as chaise lounges accessed from both the living room and bedroom. In addition, there is a larger terrace, also well furnished, that is accessed from outside the apartment, about 8 steps up from the entrance. Both outside areas offer stunning views onto Atrani's beach and the eastern part of the gulf of Amalfi. Sunsets from this vantage point are spectacular!
The apartment is centrally located in Atrani, a cute town offering access to cafes, a restaurant and a beach. It has a stop on the regional bus line that will take you on to Amalfi, Positano and Sorrento. Amalfi is a short walk (15 minutes) away.
There is AC in bedroom and living room.
Important note: This property is likely to sell out for the rest of the season. Only a few weeks are available in October.

Atrani, Italy - Amalfi Coast, Home of Papa
Atrani is Italy’s smallest municipality. But, what it lacks in size it makes up for in charm and authenticity. Its main piazza holds several cafes, a restaurant and direct access onto its small beach. Explore its step-lined streets and alleyways or visit one of its two churches. Feel like a true resident of the Amalfi coast in this small village as you sip your daily cappuccino with the locals.
Because of its position, Atrani offers some of the most dramatic views along the Amalfi Coast. And it is a short stroll to the town of Amalfi, with its lovely piazza, outdoors cafes, historic churches and lovely beaches.
Atrani is a great home base for hopping all along the coast. Buses keep regular schedules and make day trips to places like Positano, Sorrento and Pompeii very easy. An easy 1 kilometer walk or bus ride to Amalfi will give you access to the ferries as well.
When traveling to the Amalfi Coast, it's essential to be prepared for a landscape characterized by dramatic cliffs, narrow streets, and picturesque villages perched on steep hillsides. This unique topography means that stairs are an integral part of the experience, as many locations are accessible only by foot. The stairs can range from quaint, narrow alleyways to long flights that connect different levels of the town or lead down to the sea. While this might require more effort, it also offers a more intimate and immersive experience, providing breathtaking views and the opportunity to explore hidden gems. Embracing the stairs is a part of embracing the authentic charm and beauty of the Amalfi Coast.

The Papa apartment was wonderful! The view was amazing and the apartment was comfortable and compact. Our apartment exceeded our expectations and was perfect for our needs. There were very few stairs to maneuver, the apartment was air conditioned, and in immaculate condition. It was right at a bus stop and the buses ran regularly to/from Amalfi. I would definitely stay there again!
