This apartment is located in the Sestiere of Santa Croce, the ancient heart of the city, from where you can easily get both to the train station and to Piazzale Roma, the two main Venice 's terminals. Rialto and Accademia can be easily reached in less than ten minutes. Very close to the water bus stop of Riva de Biasio, this area is full of good restaurants and shops.

Venice is best known for Piazza San Marco, ringed with spectacular museums and St. Mark’s Basilica. But there’s much to see beyond the lure of San Marco, such as the art treasures of the Accademia Museum and the grandeur of the Grand Canal. The city offers endless museums and historic churches to explore, lovely architecture, artistic masterpieces and hidden beauty around every corner. There’s fascinating people-watching and lively neighborhood life that a 2-week stay will allow you to enjoy. The nearby Lido offers grand beaches, and the lagoon islands of Murano, Burano and Torcello offer fascinating diversions.

Outside Venice, easy day trips by rail include Padua, Vicenza, Treviso, Verona and Bologna.
