The evenings were sometimes a little noisy, but we got used to the rythm of the neighborhood and didn,t really see it as a serious problem. We loved the location on the canal and the short walk to the vaporetto stop. I really don't think we could have been better situated, everything was very handy, even our favorite gelotto store!

We LOVED the Donna Onesta. That apartment is just great. The views from the living room windows were wonderful and it was fun listening to all the canal and sidewalks sounds. Every day about 5:30 pm there was a gondola parage complete with singing and accordian.

The view from the balcony gave us some great people watching time in the gondolas going by. Loved the early morning smell of bread and the city noises.
