The Ardochburn Cottage is nestled within the expansive grounds of the castle, bordered by picturesque farmland on its north side. It is a studio style cottage with a king-size bedroom with an en-suite bathroom/shower, alongside a spacious sitting/kitchen/dining space, perfect for gatherings and cooking. There is also a wood burning stove to keep you cosy. The cottage is entirely situated on the ground floor.

Located approximately 2.5 miles from Dunblane, the area offers easy access to grocery stores, a variety of excellent dining options, and local attractions. Golf enthusiasts will delight in the proximity to esteemed courses like Gleneagles, a mere 15-minute drive away. The owners reside in the main castle and can be reached easily via telephone or email.

Families will be delighted to discover that there are two additional accommodations situated on the castle grounds.

Dunblane, UK - Central Scotland, Home of The Ardochburn Cottage

Dunblane, 5 miles northwest of Stirling, is a lovely town with a great sense of community. It was voted one of the best places to live in Scotland. You will enjoy its friendly people (population 9,000) and small town atmosphere. It is home to a very well-preserved Gothic cathedral, a small history museum, a good array of restaurants & pubs, several grocery stores, and a butcher.

Lately, locals and tourists alike have been flocking to the very popular Tilly's Tea Room, and we highly recommend you visit as well. The 2013 Wimbledon winner Andy Murray is a native son. You’ll find lovely walking on both banks of the Allan Water. Dunblane enjoys good train connections to Stirling (5 mins), Edinburgh, and Glasgow.
