Warwick

The Warwick apartment is located in a historic mid 19th century building located in the upscale Pimlico neighborhood in central London.

The nearest tube/subway station (Pimlico – Victoria line) is a mere 5 minutes walk away. Westminster Abbey, The Houses of Parliament and Big Ben are just a 10 minutes walk.

This property can comfortably accommodate up to 5 travelers in two double/twin bedrooms and one single bedroom. There are two bathrooms –one en-suite to the master bedroom.

The entrance door opens onto a corridor off which runs the rooms. At the far end on the right is the living room. It faces towards the south-west so it gets the afternoon and evening sun. Windows on two walls, including a pair of French windows opening onto a narrow balcony, give the room lots of light. There’s a comfortable 3 seater sofa, two arm chairs, another easy chair and a solid wood dining table.

The kitchen is compact, but modern and practical with the expected appliances including a microwave and washing machine, but no dryer and or dishwasher. There’s a small breakfast bar and seating for 2.

The master bedroom and twin bedroom are about the same size and have good cupboard and storage space. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom. The second bathroom has a bath with an over shower. The third bedroom has a single bed.

Pimlico is actually at the border of Westminster, Victoria, and the Thames River. It is known for being a quiet, elegant neighborhood in central London, with numerous white stucco Regency terraces and leafy garden squares, and for having a village-like feel. Pimlico is mostly residential, well-connected, and much calmer than the tourist-heavy neighboring neighborhoods.

Pimlico is home to local cafés, traditional pubs, and everyday shops, giving it a village-like atmosphere despite its central location. It’s also close to major landmarks such as Tate Britain, Buckingham Palace, and the Thames Path, and is well connected by multiple tube/subway and bus routes, making it popular with professionals, families, and long-term residents.
